– There are 2 ROM formats that you can choose from: ISO (7z compressed to save space) and CHD. As for the ISO, you can run it on any PS2 emulator these days. For CHD, you need to run the Nightly version of PCSX2.
Apart from the changes mentioned in the description, no other changes (Technical, Gameplay, Character, ...) have been added.
PCSX2 development versions are recommended for this game in order to avoid texture bloat.
