A modified version of Pokemon Emerald for the Gameboy Advance, Pokemon Neon is a hack-rom. It is a re-release of the game that includes over 60 additional Pokemon. There are Pokemon included from the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum versions, as well as the Black and White games. The difficulty has been ramped up, and the graphics have received some much-needed upgrades.
The player takes on the role of a young trainer originally from Johto, whose family has relocated to the small town of Lamentin in Martinique so that his father, Norman, can compete in the arena championship in Francois. Soon after that, he comes across Professor Seko, who is in a precarious condition after being attacked by a Zigzaton. Later on, he finds out that a dangerous gang known as Team BLACK is responsible for stealing and trafficking Pokemon. In order for him to become the master of Pokémon, he will have to defeat the leader of this team, win all of the badges, and do it all!
