In the video game Wik & the Fable of Souls, you take on the role of a frog-man named Wik. As Wik, you must use your long tongue to swing from tree to tree and catch grubs. Before Wik’s mule can progress to the next level, he must collect a predetermined quantity of grubs and hand them to him. However, Wik is not the only animal with a taste for the fares. He has to defend himself against bats and flies that are also after them. Then there are the scorpions to worry about. Wik certainly has his work cut out for him in this situation. Not to mention the enigma surrounding the grubs; is there some sort of ominous secret surrounding them?
The game features both a story mode and a challenge option for the player to choose from. In the story mode, the player guides Wik through the unfolding of the mystery surrounding the grubs, while in the challenge mode, the player is tasked with directing Wik to perform several tasks to transport the fares to his mule.
