Cave Story 3D

Cave Story 3D is an enhanced remake for the 3DS platform. It transforms the original 2D into 2.5D with high-definition 3D polygons and dynamic lighting. The visual style is completely changed; the game will bring basic elements such as blocks with electric elevators. Water is now animated, and platforms have become statues. A dynamic camera zooms in and out for a better perspective. Players can choose a classic mode with the original 2D sprites. The soundtrack is remixed by Dustin Kulwicki and Danny Baranowsky. The game adds four levels, new characters, and new weapons. However, some content from previous versions has been removed if it is not really effective. The game offers easier platforming. The game will also bring more healing items but lacks features such as Boss Rush mode.
