Etrian Mystery Dungeon

Etrian Mystery Dungeon combines two popular series into one adventure and incorporates unique gameplay elements. Players explore random dungeons with their party. The game features a variety of character classes and abilities. But the main focus is still on dungeon exploration. Movement and combat are turn-based. So, enemies move as the player acts. Multiple staircases appear on each floor, leading to different paths ahead. Special monsters called D.O.E. move through the floors toward the surface. Players defend their base town called Aslarga. They must build forts and keep an eye out for dangerous creatures. The party can collect materials and equipment as they explore. Better items appear in deeper levels of the dungeon. The adventure is connected to an ancient mystery. Through it, players discover secrets as they overcome challenges.
