Taxi driving is one of the popular careers. Of course, its purpose is to make money. And if you are a driver, then obviously, you do want to go back home in the evening with a pocket full of cash because it ensures that you will have a good meal without any complaint from your dear wife. “Crazy Taxi: Catch a Ride” is similar. The goal that the player needs to achieve is to earn a lot of money, without being bound by any tiresome task. When starting the game, the system offers three options corresponding to three period of time: 3 minutes, five minutes, and ten minutes. This provides a great deal of flexibility, so as not to cause disruption in your experience.

Specifically, you just need to drive around in the city to look for passengers. Anyone in need, they will give a signal and indicate whether their destination is far or near. If the deal is successful, they will board the car and provide direction through the arrow icons that appear on the screen. Then, all you have to do is to follow the instructions.

Once completed, the system will rely on many factors to pay for a trip. It includes customer comments, your compliance with traffic rules, time, and the safety of the journey. So, what does this mean? Is it an evaluation of the player’s vehicle control from the system? In a way, maybe. If unfortunate collisions occur with other vehicles or with walls, cars not only break down but also bring fear to the guests in the taxi. This is alike every time you try to run a red light or go over the speed limit. However, it can be fun sometimes.
There are two available cities. One, by default, and one is unlocked when the player achieve well results. Basically, they are all the same, just different in the streets and roads.

Besides, the game provides nine other minigames to bring additional leisure time. One of my favorites is Crazy Jump. Its rules are quite simple, which can bring busyness while enjoying the fun. You will be launched at full speed to climb a slope and reach the finish line, but still, need to dodge obstacles or cross over them. As Crazy Drift, it puts more weight on technical factors, and players must have excellent control ability to be able to win in a limited time.
