Grand Prix is the primary single-player mode that you will start when you enter the Maximum Velocity version of the F-Zero series. Here, there is no one else but you and the computer-controlled CPUs. The race will be announced when all five stages are completed. Before reaching the finish line, the riders on the first leg will receive energy points, represented by the letter S in the right corner of the screen. For each S, it has a Tubor Pow in the upper right corner to accelerate. Of course, it can be used at any time, but if you’re already filled with all three then take advantage to make room for new opportunities.

However, there are a few notes that you should know. Firstly, the acceleration will have some issues to be said. The time it takes Turbo to heat up, helping you outrun rivals on the track, will depend on your vehicle type. Jet Vermgroup, having reached maximum status, possesses the time to return to the longest normal state in the game’s Garage. In addition, there are some other machines capable of lasting up to 12 seconds, but its speed is not really high. Second, the ability to jump will be pulled down when the turbo is active. To avoid early elimination, try not to cause a collision. This will cause the car to break down gradually, and when it reaches a certain level, it will explode. Naturally, crashing into an obstacle or plunging into an abyss/shoreline suffers similarly.

The main taste of the Grand Prix includes four features: “Pawn,” “Knight,” “Bishop,” and “Queen.” You will enjoy it slowly because most of them are not unlocked from the beginning but through the “Expert” mode. By completing a number of challenges or achieving the respective achievements, you will be able to access each section. They are entirely different, about the tournament organization mechanism as well as the challenges and experiences brought.

For a racing game, perhaps there is no other aspect to exploit beyond the player’s control. F-Zero is more complicated than you think, typically you have to go through bends, fly up ramps and search for a race track to land while not forgetting obstacles and overcoming other opponents. But if possible, take the time to master the skill because it is the factor for success.
In terms of connectivity, it is available for the GBA version to support two to four players. However, the only shortcoming that I still feel is the transaction feature, because there will be an unwanted obstacle for those you want to exchange media or characters.
