In the region of Rota, there is a myth that originates from Uruguay and says that “in Wing Peak, a wish-granting genie lies.” This myth is said to have spread from Uruguay to Rota. This urban legend is based on the real-world country of Uruguay. This myth is based on events that have actually taken place in the world. Clad, a swimmer who was just recently a competitor in a national competition, is about to embark on an adventure with his three friends, the enthusiastic Fern, the studious Malimo, and the hard-working Ryan “Rye.” They are going to leave the nation’s capital, which is known as Prime City, and travel to Wing Peak in order to reach their destination. On the other hand, Clad is having strange visions of a young boy who is pleading with him for assistance and who appears to him in a variety of bizarre settings. This young boy appears to Clad in a number of different places. Who, exactly, is this young person being described? Is there any way that the rumored genie at Wing Peak could actually exist? As the four friends make their way through the sweltering heat of Rota’s summer, what kinds of obstacles and adversaries can we anticipate them encountering along the way?
