Pokemon Shattered Dreams

In the year 2013, a group known as Team Rocket caused a lot of mayhem throughout the Kanto region. The objective of this group was crystal clear: to dominate the entire world using only the most potent Pokemon as their allies. Giovanni, the leader of Team Rocket, was able to acquire the powerful Pokemon Mewtwo by making use of the many resources at his disposal. A young Trainer by the name of Red was able to foil Team Rocket’s scheme just in time to prevent them from carrying out their evil plan. Mewtwo was taken away from Giovanni after he was apprehended and Giovanni was eventually found. Mewtwo’s power was captured and stored away in the legendary Jirachi, who as a consequence of this event fell into an eternal slumber. This was done to ensure that Team Rocket’s plan would never be realized. A negligible cost to bear in exchange for tranquility.

It’s Been Three Years…

You are a young boy or girl who is 17 years old and you live in the verdant Zinnos Region. Professor Oak, who hails from Kanto, bestows each of you and your closest companion, Conan or Claire [changes with gender], with a Pokemon. As part of the experiment, you will need to keep track of the changes that occur to a non-native Pokemon when it is moved to a different region.

You and your best friend make the decision to start training in order to disprove Eris’ theory that the two of you will never be anything more than average Trainers after having a brief but eye-opening encounter with a snobby gym leader named Eris. During this adventure, you come across an arrogant Pokemon hunter and learn about a plot hatched by Team Rocket to kidnap Jirachi and unleash Mewtwo’s power. But why did Team Rocket come back, and why did they come to Zinnos? And how does the attack that Team Rocket is launching against Johto coincide with the one they are launching against Zinnotia?
