Oak is a professor with years of experience in Pokemon research. On a visit to the town of Paleta, he met a boy named Rosso. The two became friends, and Rosso talked about his dream of becoming a Pokemon trainer. Seeing the desire in those glittering eyes, the professor shared about the difficulties that he might encounter and gave the boy the first Pokemon to move one more step to his dream. This Kanto region is so vast, with four heads known as the Elite Four, hidden behind eight Kanto cities. Despite the difficulties ahead, Rosso bid farewell to Professor Oak and began his journey.

POKEMON VERDE HOJA has the style of a turn-based strategy game. The coach will organize tactics and choose the skills of Pokemon to damage opponents. Each Pokemon has special fighting skills, and is divided into two forms: active and passive. “Active”, which are skills that directly damage to enemy, meanwhile, “Passive” are skills to increase their own advantage, such as: improving defensive ability, restoring vitality, or causing Internal injuries to the enemy.

There are many areas in Kanto that need to be crossed, before meeting the Elite Four champions. It has 8 cities totally. Upon defeating a Leader Gyms in one city, players will receive a medal to move to the next place. When there are 8 medals, Elite Four – the last battle of the champions will be opened.
However, the game will not really be ended there, when the player still not complete the Pokedex yet.

This game has nearly 200 types of Pokemon, very rich in race and genre, including legendary Pokemon like Mewto. Although at the beginning, players could only choose one of three Pokemon: Charmander, Squirtle, and Bullbasaur. But in the process of fighting with other coaches in the gym, or passing through the jungle areas, players can use PokeBall to catch some or even all of them.

As an RPG role-playing game, the Pokemon is also designed quite detailed, including features such as equipment, skills, attribute systems, and can even evolve to become stronger. They are also designed according to the class, follow the model of rock-paper-scissor. This means that every Pokemon will have weaknesses and strengths to be exploited. Mastering these points, capturing legendary mascots like Mewto, Gyarados, or Elite Four is not really too difficult.
