Pokémon NEW Version Fire Red – Special Edition is a hack of Pokémon Fire Red Version. This is the third installment in the NEW series. As the title indicates, this is a so-called “special” version of Pokémon NEW FireRed Version.
Features :
– Starters: Pikachu and Eevee
– Catchable Pokémon: first 3 generations (starters included).
– Champions/Council 4/Master: improved, and Pokémon modified for some (as well as the characters).
– Greater number of Capturable Legendaries.
– The Crystal Onix can be captured.
– New evolutions and type changes for certain Pokémon.
– Epic trainers.
In the Pokémon timeline, it is part of “World 2” (“World 1” being the original).
The game takes place in the same timeline as Pokémon NEW Version Fire Red and Pokémon NEW Version Emerald (The 3 games allow you to complete the Pokédex).
The Pokémon Celebi cannot appear, so there is no point trading it into this game. It has been replaced by Crystal Onix, which cannot be traded into the NEW Fire Red and NEW Emerald games.
