You have no recollection of how you arrived at this location or even your own true identity when you wake up in what was formerly the town of Littleroot. However, it won’t be long before you realize that while you were asleep, something very unfortunate has occurred: Hoenn has been overrun by a horde of zombies.
Following this, you will collaborate with Professor Birch in an effort to locate both your brother Landon and Professor Birch’s daughter, who have both vanished during the search for the origin of the undead virus. You will, concurrently, make an effort to learn about your history. Along the way, you will come across monsters such as zombies, witches, demons, and the mysterious Taoist Gleis. You will also come across the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the army of Hoenn’s Inner Circle, and ultimately Senex, the mastermind behind all of this misery.
On the other hand, not everything is quite as gloomy as that: there are also the unflappable and cynical army recruiters Tina and Bruce, as well as the psychic dragon’s egg. Not to mention a specific facet of the universe that Denjuu inhabits.
