Red is still a young man, but he has already set his sights on achieving his lifelong goal of becoming the most skilled trainer in the Kanto region. When he first set out on his journey to realize his dream, he happened upon a large grass prairie in the Bourg Palette by accident. There, an elderly man cautioned him about the perils of venturing into the area. Chen is his name, and he is a professor who specializes in researching Pokemon. After some back-and-forth between the two of them, Red was promised to receive one of the three Pokemon that he has at the moment. Together, they go back to Professor Chen’s laboratory, where they are introduced to Blue, Professor Chen’s nephew. He shares the same aspiration and will serve as the challenger for the boy of 12 years old to overcome. Blue will not accompany Red on his journey to Kanto; however, he will make an appearance at various stages of the journey and challenge Red to a battle.
There are a total of eight distinct cities in POKEMON VERT FEUILLE, along with a plethora of other regions located in-between them. It could be open grasslands, dense forests, towering mountains, or quaint mountain villages. However, despite the setting, there are non-player characters (NPCs) that players can talk to in order to acquire information and complete the mission of vanquishing members of Team Rocket. They are known as an underground organization and champion Giovanni serves as their leader. Taking advantage of the strength of the most potent Pokemon is one of the ways he is working toward realizing his ambition of dominating the entire world. After the players have vanquished the members of Team Rocket, Red will not only have the opportunity to capture their Pokemon to add to his collection, but he will also receive experience and useful items from the NPC.
To return to the final dream of the protagonist, in order for him to obtain medals, he must first win the championship in each city. After all of the eight have been finished, the championship tournament will take place. Competing in the tournament will be the four Kanto champions from throughout the years, as well as Master Blue, who was introduced earlier as the grandson of Professor Chen. However, there are some limitations, as players are required to obtain a certain number of uncommon Pokemon in order to proceed with the development of the story. In total, there are 151 different Pokémon that can be obtained through this game’s collection mode. You can capture them in the wild with a Pokeball or steal them from other characters.
