Sonic the Hedgehog 3: Sonic and Tails are now up against Knuckles, who, like Dr. Robotnik, wants the Chaos Emeralds.
Sonic & Knuckles: A Sonic 3 update adds Knuckles as a playable character, allowing him to climb walls, punch enemies, and glide through the air.
Sonic 3D Blast: Instead of the usual side-scrolling Sonic, this pseudo-3D title in the style of Marble Madness has you chasing Robotnik and collecting the usual assortment of rings and bonuses.
Sonic Spinball: It’s Sonic trapped in a pinball machine, with the simple goal of defeating the excellent Dr. while racking up significant high scores by flicking the ball around the tables like Sonic.
Dr.Mean Robotnik’s Bean Machine: This time, the Doc has his problem as you play a Tetris-style puzzle game, matching the beans to clear them from the screen.
The disc includes Sonic’s complete history and world, a full Sonic comic book series magazine, cover art, and hidden games. These include the secret levels in “Knuckles in Sonic 2” and “Blue Sphere,” as well as the Genesis games Flicky and Ristar. The Japanese version also includes the Genesis (MegaDrive) games The Ooze and Comix Zone, unavailable in other regions.
