Super Smash Bros. Melee’s gameplay has been modified with Melee: SD Remix to make it more fair. Fox, Falco, Sheik, Marth, Jigglypuff, and Peach, who are all top-tier characters, remained unaltered, while all other characters received an approximately equal number of buffs and nerfs. The remaining characters were changed in accordance with three guiding principles: highlighting character flaws, enhancing mobility, and maintaining a character’s “style”.
Although SD Remix is still relatively unknown in the competitive scene, it is currently the most well-liked Melee mod for character customization.
