The sixth game in the Tony Hawk series is Tony Hawk’s Underground 2.
As an aspiring pro skater, you’re invited to join Tony Hawk in the “World Destruction Tour,” a global underground skating competition. It’s Team Hawk vs. Team Bam in a no-holds-barred race to the finish line by performing insane stunts and wreaking havoc in cities worldwide.
The story mode in THUG 2 follows the same formula as in THUG: you: you must complete several objectives before moving on to the next city.
The “Classic Mode,” in which you have 2 minutes to complete as many goals as possible on any of THUG 2’s and 6 remade classic stories, has been reintroduced into the series.
THUG 2 introduces new unlockable characters, vehicles, and levels.
All of the Create-A-Modes from THUG are present, as is the new Create-A-Graphic mode, which allows you to create your graffiti design with layers of text and predefined graphics, then use it to “tag up” during gameplay.
In various new and classic multiplayer games, THUG 2 supports online play (PlayStation 2 only) and 2-player split-screen modes.
