“It restores references to the Cuban Revolution, fundamental to the plot of the original game, that were scrubbed from the American release presumably because of 1980s anti-communist Red Scare censorship. All in-game signs are also translated to Spanish. It also activates a Stage Select that is normally hidden behind a cheat code, allows you to hold onto your score after continuing, extends the use of tanks and restores an unused song from the soundtrack back into the game!”
