Empire Strikes Back is an action game released by JVC in 1991. The game revolves around the journey of Luke Skywalker to rescue his friend. in Cloud City. He will begin the journey by having to overcome many challenges and enemies to escape from the Wampa cave under the rule of the Imperial Probe Droid. Later, he continued to defeat the enemy in the battle of Hoth to meet Master Yoda. Here, Luke Skywalker will be trained to increase his strength in the next battle.
At the beginning of the game, the player will control Luke Skywalker carrying in his mission to rescue a friend. He will be given a weapon like a shotgun or a sword. Skywalker can choose one of two weapons with different stages to maximize strength. His means of transportation is a horse. He will go through 10 stages to reach the enemy base. First, he is taken to a dangerous area and joins the Hoth battle with the snow empire. At this stage, he moves on a ski ship to attack enemies. Overcoming the first stage, Skywalker performs the next stage with increasing difficulty. At the end of the fourth stage, he met master Yoda at Dagobah. In order to be trained by the master, he must defeat the enemy of Dagobah swamp creatures. After passing the test, Skywalker began his Jedi training under Yoda’s management. He learned some skills to move and use his sword during training. He left Dagobah and was taken to Bespin base at the beginning of the seventh stage. Skywalker underwent multiple attacks from enemies in the base. Killing enemies will help him get a lot of bonuses. This bonus will be used by Skywalker to buy some instant power-up items against enemies. Items that will help him kill enemies quickly to fight bosses appear at the end of the stage. Leia, Skywalker’s friend is confined in a mysterious cave that appears at the eighth stage. When he sees his friend, he will use the weapon he is using to destroy the cave barrier and rescue Leia. He discovers this cave is covered with Carbon freezer. Different from the previous levels, here he does not have to fight any enemies. His last mission is to work with his companions to find an escape route to get out of the freezer safely.
