CowQuack produced a small ROM hack called Mario and the Rod of Seasons. It was created with The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons in mind for the SimpleFlips Zelda ROM Hack Competition. There are 6 levels and 15 stars in total.
Bowser has stolen the Rod of Seasons from somewhere in the fantasy world of Holodrum with the intention of making Summer the perpetual season so he can take his vacation, but Mario arrives to put a stop to the danger by returning the Rod. Mario uses the power of the Rod to free Hyrule from Bowser’s control by returning the Seasons to Holodrum with the help of Din, the Oracle of Seasons.
