Super Mario Galaxy, known as Super Mario Wii: Galaxy Adventure in Korea, is a 3D action-adventure platformer game. This is the third Mario 3D platformer and a sequel to Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. However, unlike the previous two 3D franchises for the Mario franchise, this game takes place in deep space. Super Mario Galaxy is different from the previous Mario game, instead of being strictly played in 2D or 3D, the game occasionally changes from 3D to 2D and vice versa (although the core gameplay is mostly 3D). Mario is controlled by analogue stick and can jump by button A on the keyboard. Mario can jump three times by jumping three times exactly, and each jump is higher than the previous jump. Mario can defeat most enemies by jumping on them, creating a healing coin. Featured in Super Mario Galaxy is a multiplayer mode called Co-Star Mode. New in this game, Mario discovers a 3D world with planets with a gravity that allows Mario to walk on walls and ceilings. Super Mario Galaxy is an almost perfect combination of old platform values and new design.
