Bowser and Peach find themselves at the wedding chapel in this action-platformer, pushed into marriage by the wicked Count Bleck. As a result of this union, a void will consume the entire universe, as the book Dark Prognosticus predicted. Count Bleck flees with an object known as the Chaos Heart before Luigi can stop him—however, another book known as the Light Prognosticus can be used to negate the Dark Prognosticus. The Light Prognostics predicts a hero in overalls, and this hero is thought to be able to avert the universe’s doom.
Mario must go through eight worlds to pursue Pure Hearts, accompanied by Peach, Bowser, and a new set of companions. Each character has a unique talent that can aid the player in solving the game’s numerous challenges. Mario may switch between the second and third dimensions to uncover objects, secret passageways, and pound opponents. Peach can float large distances and defend against opponent attacks using her parasol. Bowser utilizes his fire breath to ignite objects and cook foes.
Excellent Paper Mario does not entirely abandon its RPG roots. Baddies, for example, award points to Mario and his companions. These points help Mario and his friends to advance in the game. Items can also be used to attack opponents and gain lives, and players collect coins to purchase more things.
Players can obtain extra experience points by shaking the Wii remote after jumping on evil enemies before hitting the ground. Tippi, a Pixl, is used by players to locate secrets by pointing the remote at the screen. Other Pixls who assist in various ways can be found along the road. Tippi and other Pixls can be utilized by hitting the 1 button.
