De Zaak van Sam is an interactive detective story. The player takes on the role of private detective Sam D. Philips who has been asked to find Monica. Monica is the beautiful wife of mafia boss Antonio Baresi. The game is an interactive movie in which the player has to make the right decisions or see an untimely end. The game takes its style from Film Noir Hollywood detectives from the 30s and 40s.
