Based on the cartoon series rather than the comic books or movies, Batman: Vengeance places you in the position of the ‘Dark Knight’ in a 3D Gotham City, where you must face and fight foes like Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and, yes, The Joker.
The Joker died after falling off a bridge during a fight with our caped hero. With the big man’s position at the top of the criminal hierarchy on the line, the city’s most terrible crooks are out in force, clambering over each other for the new job. Batman’s most lethal adversaries launch a crime wave in Gotham. Nothing is what it appears to be. You can’t even be sure that the iconic Joker is no longer alive. Gotham’s safety is at stake, and only Batman can save it.
