Buzz!: The BIG Quiz is a general knowledge quiz game that utilizes four customized USB buzzers instead of the standard PlayStation 2 twin shock controllers. These buzzers were first featured in Buzz! : The Music Quiz enables four players to start playing at once.
The actual competition takes place in a television game show style, with the contestants seated on podiums. Buzz, the show’s host, introduces each question as displayed on a jumbotron. The primary game is played throughout eight rounds, each beginning with very straightforward game mechanics but progressively becoming more difficult as the stakes increase. The question kinds are general knowledge questions, and they cover a wide range of topics through images, movies, music clips, and other media.
If you have a second set of buzzers, you can play a game with up to eight players in addition to playing the standard game. In addition, there is a mode called Quizmaster and team play. The game can either come with a buzzer set or be played without one, and both options are available.
