The game continues the story of Sho in a distant solar system. In addition, Aliens attack again, and the protagonist fights with a special sword gun. A girl will give various support during his adventure. Players control two characters because some missions are shared. At the same time, the girl uses energy pistols and laser swords. Both heroes use magical abilities called neo-psionics. During the game, players can find RPG elements like enemies that drop items for weapon upgrades. Experience points are gained after missions, which gives chances for players to unlock more content and character. Therefore, this sequel combines action and RPG elements while expanding on the original’s story and gameplay.
