A video game adaptation of the successful Buzz! series. The questions have all been changed to be relevant to Disney, and Genie from Aladdin is now hosting the event.
Buzzer combat pits up to four players against each other, utilizing various electronic devices. A variety of play styles are available for the players to select from. The game modes include a Quickstart mode (in which players play five rounds using the default settings), a Basic game mode (in which players can now choose for how long they want to play, at what location they want to play, and can choose a sound that will be played when they hit the big red button on their buzzer), and a Custom game mode (in which players can choose which rounds they want to play).
The duration of the game is up to the individual players. Five rounds are played during a short game, seven during an average game, and nine during a long game. It takes approximately thirty minutes to play a quick match, whereas a long game might take up to sixty minutes. Players can also adjust the difficulty level by picking their level of familiarity with Disney films.
Players even have the opportunity to unlock extra goodies. When playing a game with multiple players, the person who comes out on top can unlock special items for their character. In addition, there are three hidden Disney figures, and the only way to access them is for the player to achieve a score of 10,000, 20,000, or 30,000 points while playing the single-player game.
