Endgame is a futuristic light-gun action game that has been compared to the Time Crisis series.
The plot revolves around an evil conspiracy to control the world using virtual reality mind control. The protagonist is a vivacious redhead named Jade Cornell, whose friend Tyler has gotten too near to the truth. The game begins when Jade receives a message from him detailing the location of the firearm he left in her apartment. The door opens when she grabs the pistol, and the first gunfight ensues.
The game consists of five fast-paced chapters, each of which is timed. Jade will travel through exotic European locales (such as the Swiss Alps and the London Underground) and engage in combat with enemies and superiors. The more quickly you dispatch each enemy wave, the better, as the time you save is added to the next chapter.
The ecosystem is entirely destructible. You can fire pictures off walls, open cabinets, cause the glassware to fall to the ground, and otherwise wreak havoc on your environment. In addition, you can cause explosions that destroy all nearby enemies.
Completing the game for the first time grants access to additional game modes and minigames.
