Wisdom Incorporated is a well-known company for its work in cloning technology, gene therapy, genome-based pharmaceuticals, and genetic alteration of food. Josh Calloway is an employee of Wisdom Incorporated. He is put through rigorous examinations daily, hoping that his enhanced abilities can be used to advance science and technology.
He has no idea that Wisdom is working on LEGACY, a weapon with a close range that possesses tremendous power, to use it to achieve military power. After Josh is eventually able to piece together the truth about his newly acquired power, he and Eliel Evergrand, his girlfriend and co-worker, make an audacious attempt to flee the base. They were never successful.
Now, Eliel’s soul is contained within the core of a new LEGACY weapon known as the E.O.E. Josh carries it within the modified arm of his own body. It is only possible for him to put an end to Wisdom’s ambitions, and it is only possible for him to save Eliel and transform her back into a human being.
As a 3D beat-them-up action title, Eve of Extinction combines onscreen command elements during gameplay (similar to those found in Dynamic Cop) to point you in the right direction and keep you out of harm’s way. Because of the technology that allows you to swap weapons during an attack, you can boost the damage your spells do to your foes. After a boss has been defeated, new weapons, such as a crossbow and an axe, are available to the player. These can be improved by using the ley seeds that can be found scattered across the map.
