The PC game EverQuest takes place 500 years before EverQuest Online Adventures: Frontiers, which occurs in the same world as Norrath. It is the second version of EQOA, a standalone release for the PS2.
The initial design of a significant portion of the game has been vastly improved. A new playable race, a new character class, thousands of new items, hundreds of new missions, new musical soundtracks, level advancement to level 60, a class mastery system to further customize characters, and two different regions to explore (Odus and Rathe Mountains) are all included in this expansion pack.
In addition to that, regular updates are made to the game. Unlocking new zones, an auction system and lycanthropy character upgrades are just some of the many elements that have been added to the game since the first edition was released.
