Mega Man X Collection compiles seven of the Blue Bomber’s previous adventures on a single CD. Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, an expanded version of Mega Man X3 with anime cutscenes and a reworked soundtrack, Mega Man X4, Mega Man X5, and Mega Man X6 are all included in this compilation. Each game now consists of a save option and controls that may be customized, but Mega Man X 1 through 3 still have the opportunity to save with a password. Additionally, there is less delay overall, and the loading times for later games are much reduced.
Mega Man Battle and Chase is an additional bonus game that may be unlocked in the Mega Man X Collection. This game is a kart racer similar to Mario Kart; however, it has a Mega Man twist in that you can take care of components from your opponents and apply them to your kart. Previously, this game had only been distributed in Europe and Japan.
In addition, as players go through the games in the collection, they will have the opportunity to uncover bonus unlockables, such as game artwork and sketches, remixes of various pieces of in-game music, and game clues.
