The gameplay remains the core thing from the series version. You will experience the shooting gameplay in the 2D side-scrolling environment. In addition, the storyline focuses on a Rebel-Martian alliance where all sides unite to fight a common threat. The four original heroes will appear with their unique attributes and special abilities. Characters possess different stat, so you should focus on running speed, vehicle defense, and ammo capacity. At the same time, carrying two power-ups is available and allows for sharing in Co-op mode. An additional melee attack replaces the sliding technique from the previous game. Over time, players earn more points by defeating enemies quickly and unlock more difficulty levels.
