The player in MotoGP 07 competes in the Dorna 2007 Moto GP season, officially sanctioned by the racing organization. The video game includes all 17 licensed tracks, 22 licensed riders, and 22 licensed bikes from the official championship. Several different game modes are available, including a complete season of the 2007 Moto GP, a custom season, short races, time attacks, split-screen multiplayer, and 100 individual challenges.
If the player completes challenges, they will receive official Moto GP footage and images. The player can personalize his riding experience by selecting one of three predefined riding models, either Arcade, Advance, or Simulation. If you change the game mode to “Arcade,” the motorcycle will be simpler to handle; for example, the front wheels will not lock up when you apply the brakes, the rider will not fall off during powerslides, and putting the wheels on grass will not result in a game over. If the player chooses to play the game using the “Simulation” mode, they must manage front and rear wheel locking during braking and high and low sides during acceleration. When it rains, the grass gets slick. The “Advance” category is a hybrid of the “Arcade” and “Simulation” categories. In addition, the conditions of the weather change depending on whatever trail you choose.
