The 2005 edition of EA Sports’ college football franchise has several fantastic new features and the company’s newly developed impact stick technology. You can play a quick game or select a dynasty as usual. Still, it also includes the new Race for the Heisman mode, in which you begin as a Freshman and work your way up through the college ranks, winning the big games and becoming a legend by winning the Heisman Trophy, the most prestigious award in college football. You may also play mini-game skills such as the Pass Skeleton, Oklahoma Drill, Option Attack, and Rushing Attack. Now in-studio commentary is available, with Brad Nessler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Lee Corso making their famous mascot predictions immediately before kickoff. It is an enhancement over earlier versions and features graphics that are much more advanced.
