In the distant past, an evil that was more powerful than everything that had come before it or would come after it was imprisoned beneath a tree that grew five golden fruits. After many years, the group of ghosts still wandering Pac-World have finally gotten their hands on the fruits hanging from the tree. They had, unbeknownst to themselves, also let loose onto a defenseless Pac-World, the evil that slumbered beneath the tree. Pac-Man is the only Pac capable of returning the five golden fruits to the tree, preventing Pac-World from being destroyed by ghosts and the new evil, and returning the fruits to the tree.
Using his legendary munching talents, Pac-Man must navigate twenty levels with monsters, pits, and other hazards. Pac-Man’s journey requires him to collect various items known as Pac-Pills, which can be located all over each level.
Additionally, players have the opportunity to unlock four classic Pac-Man games, each of which was selected from a separate Namco collection. In order of how they appear, they are as follows:

Taken from Namco Museum Volume 3, here we have Ms. Pac-Man.
This is Pac-Mania, which can be found in Namco Museum Volume 5.
Pac-Attack is a remake of the game Pac-Man that was taken from Namco Anthology 2.
