The Earth’s population has increased, and as a result, massive skyscrapers have been built. The wealthiest and middle-class people reside in these skyscrapers, while the poor, insane, illegal, and criminals live at the bottom in the slums. People only go down there to undertake foundation maintenance. A team of engineers has recently gone missing at the “Real Meat Factory,” and the Urban Protection Agency (UPA) has been dispatched to investigate.
Project Eden is a 3D shooter with a puzzle-solving focus. Carter Dorlan, Andre Herderman, Minoko Molensky, and Amber Torrelson are the four UPA agents that the player controls. Each protagonist has a unique skill that must be used regularly to solve puzzles and progress in the game. Andre uses a special Omnitool to repair broken equipment or machinery; Minoko can hack into computer terminals, accessing information and controlling cannons, robots, tanks, and other machines; Amber can shoot pulse laser bolts and missiles and is unaffected by hazards such as flames, poison gas, electricity, cold temperatures, and so on.
Characters frequently collaborate to solve problems in the game, and shooting can be done in the first or third person. The game also has a multiplayer mode, allowing four players to compete in cooperative or deathmatch tournaments.
