The unique control method of the golf simulation game ProStroke Golf: World Tour 2007 sets it apart from other titles in its genre. Unlike the other golf simulations you’ve probably played, the tee is played in a first-person format. The player must use both analog sticks once they have decided on the club and the position of their feet. He imitates the swing with the left one and shifts his body weight to the right with the other. It is insufficient to reposition it in the correct direction merely; the player must achieve steady back-and-forth movement.

This control scheme will only work when a gamepad is utilized; however, a more standard control scheme in the third person involves three clicks. Before making their strike, the player can select their body weight movement. The first click causes him to make the strike, the second click allows him to adjust the precision, and the third click controls the force of the blow. However, in contrast to previous golf simulations, this one does not allow the player to select the type of swing in advance; instead, the kind of swing is chosen by the player’s inputs to the swing parameters.

Playing modes are less cutting-edge than the rest of the game. The formal training, individual tournament, and career modes are all included in the game. On the other hand, the career mode consists of a bunch of matches strung together. The player character’s rank rises due to victories, although this does not affect the gameplay itself; instead, it merely changes the terms under which the player can compete in subsequent tournaments.

The video game includes three real-life golf commentators, nine licensed golfers, and 18 courses, two of which are permitted. The editor allows gamer to design their competitions and classes.
