The action-packed flying simulator Rebel Raiders: Operation Nighthawk is far ahead. In the far future, humanity has established dominance over the solar system and will be subject to the oppressive authority of the Union of World Nations. The player joins the resistance movement known as the Alliance of Independent States, which engages in ongoing aerial battles with the United World Navy (UWN). The player must battle for independence over all sixteen of the game’s levels.
Twenty different types of combat aircraft are available for the player to select from. The player must destroy enemy vehicles and infrastructure using a variety of machine guns and missiles to progress through levels and accomplish missions. Replenishing the player’s shields, which ultimately keeps him alive, is a side effect of destroying opponent objectives. You can get access to new planes by completing different types of missions.
