Red Card 2003 is the soccer game that Midway has released as part of its extreme sports series. The gameplay is much like NFL Blitz or NHL Hitz, so get used to it.
In the most realistic of Midway’s extreme sports games from 2003, players compete for one of 32 foreign teams after selecting from among those available. The gameplay in this video game is very similar to actual soccer, right up until you bring one of your rivals to the ground with a dropkick. Although it does not go as far as most of Midway’s hard-hitting games, it is unquestionably more comparable to Midway’s extreme sports games than a conventional simulation.
