The Piglots genetically engineered pet and the Vanocore Power Drink are two innovations the Vanocore Corporation has developed. Both of these products are expected to impact the Tyke system significantly. It accidentally landed on the planet Endust due to a technical difficulty that occurred while they were being transferred to the Earth.
The player assumes the role of Ruff Trigger, a bounty hunter working for the Boss P.I. Agency. He is tasked with recovering the Piglots and Power Drink cargo. Still, while doing so, he stumbles into a horrifying secret that can potentially destroy the Tyke System and a conflict with the Vanocore Corporation.
The gameplay is a three-dimensional platformer in the vein of Ratchet & Clank, featuring a variety of odd-looking foes and deadly weapons. There are three different planets in total available for exploration, and even some racing is involved. Collecting the light orbs strewn over the many worlds allows you to access a mode that will enable Ruff to transform into a powerful beast. This mode can be unlocked by completing specific challenges.
