Sensible Soccer has reemerged on the scene after an absence of several years. Sensible Soccer 2006 is a fast-paced football game played from the perspective of a bird looking down on the action, similar to the original game from 1992 (although the camera is angled somewhat differently). The game used to be controlled by pressing a single button, but now there are three; one button is used for shooting, another for passing, and the third for sprinting. In addition to that, you aim with the stick on gamepads and use the after-touch action by pressing and holding the analog stick.
Over 350 unique teams, including international and club teams, and 50 competitions are already set up in the game. If this is not sufficient, gamers have the option of constructing their very own unique units. The game’s career mode can be accessed through this menu. The goal is to assemble a group of players with less than three years of experience and guide them to the top of the team standings. You will receive skill points based on your level of success, and these points can be utilized to improve the overall quality of your team.
Multiplayer matches for up to four players are available in Sensible Soccer 2006; however, the game does not support internet play. In these matches, players take turns controlling their respective teams. The ability for players to build their contests, including leagues, cups, and tournaments, is one of the features that was not included in the updated version of the game.
