Silpheed: The Lost Planet

The arcade shooter genre is carried on by Silpheed, which combines retro-styled gameplay with cutting-edge 3D graphics and cinematic presentation. As is customary for this video game genre, the objective is to guide your ship past thousands of foes, including bosses who take up the majority of the screen real estate. You have access to many different weapons and shields, but if you use all of your lives up, you will have to begin the level all over again from the very beginning.
