Darkseid and Lex Luthor have allied, and they want to use it to unleash an army of robotic warriors on the city of Metropolis and the rest of the globe. Therefore, Superman must come to the rescue and save the day.
In this game, which is based on a current animated television series, Superman will keep all of his powers intact as he makes his way through 14 stages to stop the robots and the many other villains trying to take over the planet.
Once more, Superman can create ice with his breath, see through X-rays, see heat, and have superhuman strength. The new first-person mode enables even more powerful attacks to be executed at a far higher accuracy rate. There are animated cutscenes between the levels depicting the story of Superman’s battles with Livewire, Parasite, Metallo, and Darkseid. These cutscenes take place between the groups.
