In Tony Hawk’s first extreme downhill racing game, players aim directly downhill at high speed through seven open locations, including Machu Picchu, San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro, Edinburgh, and Hong Kong. With the Wii remote, players must avoid obstacles and be the first to reach the bottom.
By gripping the controller sideways and tilting it from side to side, it is possible to turn and perform aerial flips. To gain speed, select button 2, and your character will crouch to gain momentum and perform tricks. The 1 button can perform jumps and additional actions as an all-purpose trick button.
Multiplayer in the Wii version can be played locally with four split-screen players.
