The game introduces new mechanics and changes like Overdrive duration under the Burst Gauge. Character portraits shake when damaged. Emblems appear at the start of matches. Exceed Accel is a special Distortion Drive that begins with a specific attack. In particular, the background shatters when it connects and deals high damage but ends Overdrive. At the same time, Active Flow boosts offensive play because it increases damage, makes Burst Gauge recovery, and enhances Exceed Accel. Characters in this mode have purple-pink emblems. The Overdrive Gauge shows this color when close to Active Flow. However, players can enter this status once per round. These changes add depth to gameplay and strategy when requiring players to use the power carefully and win the opponents.
