Richter Belmont defeated Dracula five years ago. The battle nearly cost him, Annette, and Maria. Richter has now vanished. Maria sets off to find Richter. Alucard awakens and enters Dracula’s castle. Symphony of the Night is a sequel to Rondo of Blood. The game is set in a castle where players can explore freely, but some areas require specific items. The gameplay mixes action with RPG elements because characters gain experience and levels. Money and accessories are available. Players equip weapons and items with important Magic and special moves. In particular, the Saturn version adds new areas and a playable character, including new music tracks. However, it loses some graphical effects. Mobile versions are based on a different release.
