Dead Space 2 continues Isaac Clarke’s story when he continues to fight Necromorphs again. The game takes place on The Sprawl, a space station. Isaac deals with trauma and hallucinations. A new enemy outbreak occurs, so he must escape and uncover the truth. The gameplay is similar to the first version, where players control Isaac in a third-person view. With the return of Stasis and telekinesis abilities, weapons have alternate attacks to find the new one. Dismemberment plays an important role in defeating Necromorphs, and Isaac can now move freely in zero-gravity areas. At the same time, the gameplay has improved visuals and storytelling with the voice of the protagonist. The PS3 version includes an updated Dead Space: Extraction. These changes enhance the overall experience and deepen the narrative.
