Def Jam Icon follows the gameplay of hip-hop fighting when the one-on-one battles will happen. Therefore, your character can come from 30 famous artists with a unique style. In some situations, players can still grab and throw opponents. With hip-hop, the environment can be scattered in many locations, like rooftops, streets, traditional arenas, etc. Six fighting styles are available, and the places sometimes will be the reason for many changes in the matches. For example, the environment reacts to the music, enabling special attacks and additional damage. The soundtrack includes 29 songs, and you should find suitable music to have the best performances against other opponents. Overall, the game offers various modes and allows character customization to become skilled and styled dancers.
