The story is inspired by an apocryphal book where a man has a mission to capture angels who have abandoned their duties. These holy beings want to live among them. However, the protagonist still aims to find the fallen angels and bring them back to Heaven. Through the journeys, he will receive much help from an archangel. The game possesses action elements with platforming and melee combat from the third perspective. The combat system relies on button timing for various attacks. Besides his own weapons, the main character must steal the ones of enemies. After the combat, he needs to purify or discard these weapons periodically to ensure their powers.
