Guitar Hero: Aerosmith expands many improvements from the previous versions. A single band will be the core feature that the developer will focus on. Most tracks come from related artists, so players will experience nostalgic feelings with the music styles. The band re-recorded songs and did motion capture for the game. The career model follows the band in the realistic history. Players start as Joe Perry and can gradually recruit other members. The mode has divided the tracks into six tiers where players will find more challenges and rewards when completing the top. In addition, songs unlock gradually for other modes. There are 41 songs in total, with 31 in career mode and 10 in the vault. Therefore, the game allows players to replay after completing the standard gameplay.
