Max Payne 3 continues the series when taking place in São Paulo, Brazil. Actually, Max works as a security guard and tries to rescue the kidnapped wife. However, nothing happens normally. Different from the previous version, the game keeps the black film style but is brighter than before. For his mission, Max changes his look and helps players try some new styles. For gameplay, players shoot from the third perspective when they possess bullet time, which slows down the action. Max can use many weapons and is ready to enter a dangerous mission. You can see his health presented by an outline on the screen. Painkillers are necessary to rescue the character and help him heal. The game mixes cutscenes with gameplay smoothly when the story appears in various ways and in various order.
